Poem 125:

2014 Clouds 009

The Tiny Cloud

Hiding within the cloud
is a tiny ray of sun
waiting for the rain
until it too is done.

When the earth is cleansed
from drops within the tiny cloud
then comes the sun’s warm ray
to brighten all things found

The soil planted in gentle rain
yields the harvest of a morning dew
the tiny cloud with rain now through,
yields the ground to golden ray.
