Poem 164:

Yellow Moonbeams

Nightly Journey

Hiding in a morning ray,
tiny moonbeams rest
from a nightly journey

Pausing for a moment
while the sun crosses the sky,
waiting for the moon
until it again begins to glow

Then with twilight’s fond farewell
renew their sacred journey
into the night.

(for a whimsical Saturday morning)
